Every year October sets the scene for the hugely important Black History Month. A significant month to highlight, acknowledge and celebrate people & events which shaped the course of history within the African and Caribbean Diaspora within the UK.
In recognition of this, Axco's Kelvin Miles, Bianca Lynch, Monique Atkinson and Beulah Berrisford attend Black Tech Fest '23 to celebrate Black culture, witness new innovation and be inspired by powerful conversations around technology, inclusion and innovation.
At Axco, innovation and collaboration is at the core of our values, we aim to remain industry leaders by continuing to develop our products with the latest tech, best practices underpinned with an innate drive to succeed. From learning about generative A.I from Direct Line & Compare the Market, to learning about the future of information from Bloomberg, there was so much valuable information to take back.
There were numerous highlights and impressive takeaways from the conference, but one thing that stood out to me the most, which was witnessing my esteemed colleagues be empowered, inspired and forge positive relationships with other Insurance professionals alike was something that truly brought me immense pride.
The team at Axco left with a collective feeling of unity, having been enthralled in an exceptional showcase of innovation and inclusion, which we hope will spark a commitment to celebrate diversity frequently and drive action towards a commitment to amplifying our voices.
